Safety is an overriding priority for the PNG LNG project and it is committed to conducting it's business in a manner that protects the safety of employees, others involved in our operations, customers, and the public.

The Project will strive to prevent all accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses through the active participation of every employee. It will be committed to continuous efforts to identify and eliminate or manage safety risks associated with its activities.

Safety features of the PNG LNG Project will include:

• Facilities designed to international safety standards
• Pipelines buried underground
• Advanced monitoring and emergency shut down systems
• Appropriate safety equipment
• Fenced perimeter including buffer zones around facilities
• Security patrols
